PBF Energy closed the purchase of two hydrogen production plants at its Torrance refinery on Sept. 9, 2026.
The deal with Air Products included a $44.8 million cash payment at closing. PBF also issued a promissory note recorded as about $342.2 million of debt, including estimated contingent payment obligations.
