Pearson has rolled out its AI modules internationally with US availability starting August 1. The modules embed applied AI scenarios, real-world use cases and guided practice into existing coursework across over 20 disciplines, including business, health, science and social sciences, via the MyLab and Mastering platforms.
Students who complete the AI modules earn Credly badges that provide recognized credentials to signal job-ready AI proficiency to employers. This aims to bridge the practical skills gap cited by employers as a top barrier to hiring and productivity.
These modules expand Pearson’s AI learning ecosystem by combining learning science, subject matter expertise and responsible AI design. They complement existing AI literacy modules to ensure students not only understand ethical AI practices but also apply generative AI tools directly within their field of study.
