1. Quarterly results
Pediatrix Medical Group reported third-quarter revenue of $501.37 million, up 1.7% year over year and slightly above the $498.14 million analyst estimate. Adjusted EBITDA was $85.48 million, above the $80.10 million estimate; net income was $46.99 million.
2. Drivers and outlook
CEO Mark S. Ordan said results were driven by patient volume and pricing performing ahead of expectations. Growth in non-same-unit activity reflected recent acquisitions, partially offset by practice dispositions. Same-unit revenue from net reimbursement-related factors increased with a favorable shift in payor mix, higher administrative fees from hospital partners and higher patient acuity, primarily in neonatology. Pediatrix expects full-year 2026 adjusted EBITDA of $290 million to $300 million.
