Perez moved to Cadillac for the team’s debut season and has signed an extension that will keep him there until 2029. He said he was fully committed for the next three years and that building the team would take time, work and patience.
The six-times Grand Prix winner is set to celebrate his 300th Grand Prix start at his home race in Mexico City this weekend. He finished third in the 2022 drivers’ championship and second in 2023 while racing for Red Bull Racing.
