Philip Morris to supply Altria’s Philip Morris USA under cigarette contract manufacturing deal

Philip Morris International entered a contract manufacturing arrangement for combustible cigarettes with Altria unit Philip Morris USA.
First shipments are expected to begin in early 2027, subject to operational readiness and regulatory requirements.
No material impact is expected on 2026 financials.
PMI has no plans to commercialize combustible cigarettes in the U.S., and the arrangement does not change that.
The companies will operate independently, retaining responsibility for commercialization, distribution and regulatory activities.
