SITC•Pine Tree acquired a controlling interest in a 10-property shopping center portfolio from SITE Centers on October 20, 2026. Appraised at $644 million, the portfolio totals 3.5 million square feet.
1. Portfolio acquisition
The primarily grocery-anchored properties span nine states and top 50 U.S. markets, with a large international investor partnering on the acquisition. The transaction brought Pine Tree’s acquisitions over the past 12 months above $1 billion and its assets under management to more than $4 billion; Pine Tree said it was the largest acquisition in its 31-year history. The two portfolio transactions with SITE Centers exceeded $1.1 billion in asset value.
