Pinnacle West said it expects about 4.5 GW of resources to enter service by 2028 and plans to file a 25-year, 1.88-GW power deal with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company with Arizona regulators in the coming days. The company is evaluating proposals for more than 1 GW of supply for 2030-2031 and negotiating with other customers in its 20-GW extra-large-customer queue. It continues to expect a December decision on its general rate case and does not expect election results to delay it.
