Plains All American agrees to buy Silver Creek Powder River Basin crude gathering assets for $585 million
PAA•PAA•PAA•PAA•Plains All American Pipeline agreed to buy Silver Creek Midstream’s Powder River Basin crude gathering business for about $585 million in cash.
The deal adds a large integrated system with about 600 miles of pipelines, 350,000 bpd capacity and 1.2 million barrels of storage.
It also includes a 49% non-operated stake in the Powder River Gateway joint venture, providing links to Iron Horse and Powder River Express assets.
The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to customary conditions including Hart-Scott-Rodino clearance.
