Planet Labs opened a new office in central London, expanding its European footprint and setting a UK national hub for AI and analytics partnerships.
The Soho site is positioned near Westminster to deepen engagement with UK policymakers, the Ministry of Defence, DSIT, DBT, and NATO stakeholders.
The UK team has grown to over 30, and the company plans to step up hiring across Britain in space, data science, and AI roles.
Planet said the office supports UK government work and builds on operations anchored by the Goonhilly Earth Station in Cornwall.
The London opening adds to a European network led by a Berlin headquarters, with an upcoming satellite manufacturing facility planned in Berlin.
