On January 22, 2026, PNC Bank introduced a self-service digital solution enabling online banking customers to open and fund individual brokerage accounts through PNC Wealth Management entirely online. The new functionality eliminates manual paperwork and reduces account-opening time to under 10 minutes, according to internal testing, and offers seamless integration with existing PNC checking and savings accounts for instant funding. Clients can now execute $0-commission equity and ETF trades, access over 4,000 mutual funds and utilize advanced features such as Tax Lot Trading, fractional-share investing and real-time performance tracking via a modern, intuitive interface.
