POET to Demonstrate Blazar Hybrid Laser and 8-Channel Starlight ELS at OFC

POETPOET

POET will showcase its Blazar hybrid laser and eight-channel Starlight high-powered light source at the Optical Fiber Communications Conference, Booth 339, March 16–19. These wafer-level chip-scale ELS products offer multi-wavelength output, lower costs, greater Indium Phosphide supply and enhanced AI connectivity while earning a 1.6Tbps Teralight award.

1. OFC Conference Demonstrations

POET will perform live demonstrations of its Blazar and Starlight products at the Optical Fiber Communications Conference in Los Angeles from March 16-19. Executives and engineers will meet industry leaders at Booth No. 339 to showcase multi-wavelength output, high-power external light source capabilities and wafer-level chip-scale integration.

2. Blazar Hybrid Laser Features

Blazar is a hybrid laser solution designed for co-packaged optics and chip-to-chip data links, offering high output power and multi-wavelength operation as an alternative to traditional DFB lasers. Its wafer-level chip-scale technology lowers manufacturing costs, improves reliability and increases Indium Phosphide supply.

3. Starlight Next-Gen ELS and Teralight Award

Starlight represents the next generation of POET’s external light source engines with eight high-power channels across multiple wavelengths, aiming to meet AI compute demands at reduced cost. POET will also accept a Lightwave Innovation Reviews Elite Score award for its 1.6Tbps Teralight optical engine, underscoring its industry leadership.
