PolyPid posted a Q2 net loss of $7.8 million, narrowing from a $10 million loss a year earlier; loss per share improved to $(0.35).
R&D spending edged down to $6.1 million, while G&A expenses fell to $1.3 million on lower non-cash PSU vesting charges.
Cash position, FDA review and Azurity deal milestones
Cash and cash equivalents totaled $6.6 million at June 30, down from $12.9 million at Dec. 31, excluding $30 million from Azurity.
The FDA accepted the D-PLEX100 NDA with Priority Review; the PDUFA goal date was set for Nov. 28, 2026, about one quarter earlier.
The Azurity deal triggered $30 million in upfront and near-term milestones; the agreement includes up to about $320 million total milestones, with royalties up to the mid-20% range.
