1. Delivery of Over 100 Gen-7 Robotaxis

Pony.ai has delivered an initial batch of more than 100 Gen-7 Robotaxis based on the GAC AION V model to Guangzhou Chenqi Mobility Technology for integration into its OnTime Mobility ride-hailing platform, marking the start of a large-scale commercial rollout in China.

2. Upgraded Strategic Cooperation

The companies signed an upgraded cooperation agreement in Guangzhou to jointly build and operate a Robotaxi fleet, under which Pony.ai will license its Virtual Driver autonomous system, generating recurring revenue, while Chenqi Mobility handles fleet assets, safety assurance, dispatch and platform operations.

3. Cost Reductions and Technical Advances

The Gen-7 Robotaxi platform uses automotive-grade components designed for a 600,000-kilometer lifespan, incorporates passenger enhancements like Bluetooth unlocking and in-vehicle voice interaction, and achieves a 70% reduction in autonomous driving kit costs compared with the previous generation.

4. Commercial Viability and Growth Targets

Positive unit economics have been achieved in Guangzhou and Shenzhen, and Pony.ai is accelerating mass production and geographic expansion, aiming to exceed 3,000 deployed Robotaxis by the end of 2026 through partnerships with fleet operators.
