The testing runs on a 22-kilometer route linking Verne’s headquarters, a business district, and Franjo Tuđman Airport Zagreb.

The collaboration follows a Pony.ai-Verne-Uber partnership to launch a commercial robotaxi service in Europe via Uber’s platform.
Verne’s service began in early April, logging more than 200,000 kilometers with several thousand rides and a 4.7/5 average rating.
Pony.ai targets a global fleet above 3,500 robotaxis by end-2026, supported by an overseas pipeline above 4,000 vehicles.
