1. Commercial Operation of SB 13-2
PowerBank has placed the 7.01 MW DC (5 MW AC) SB 13-2 community solar project into commercial operation in upstate New York. Constructed on an industrial brownfield owned by Honeywell, the ground-mount facility will generate enough clean energy to supply approximately 875 homes annually.
2. Honeywell Transaction and EPC
The SB 13-2 project was developed under a US$41 million transaction covering three community solar sites totaling 21 MW DC sold to Honeywell, with PowerBank retaining an EPC agreement through commercial commissioning. The assets will transition to Honeywell Aerospace upon its planned June 29, 2026 spinoff.
3. Growth Pipeline and Strategy
This milestone reinforces PowerBank’s track record in full-cycle project delivery as it scales a pipeline exceeding one gigawatt across North America. The company is leveraging its solar and battery storage expertise to target emerging demand for on-site power solutions driven by AI compute infrastructure and modular data centers.
