Precision Optics Q4 revenue jumps 42% on higher aerospace customer production
POCI•Precision Optics said fourth-quarter revenue rose 42% year over year to a quarterly record of $8.8 million, while gross margin increased to 25.3% from 13.0%. The company expects fiscal 2027 revenue of $30 million to $33 million as a satellite customer temporarily pauses orders.

Precision Optics attributed record fourth-quarter revenue to increased production for a top-tier aerospace customer. Continued production of a single-use cystoscopy surgery system and a ramp-up under a $3.5 million follow-on order for a single-use ophthalmic program also contributed. Revenue was $8.8 million, compared with a $7.15 million consensus estimate, and the company reported a loss per share of $0.01.
2. Fiscal 2027 outlook
The company expects fiscal 2027 revenue of $30 million to $33 million and adjusted EBITDA of negative $1.2 million to negative $1.7 million. It anticipates a stronger second half as satellite customer orders are expected to resume after a temporary pause.
