Princess Cruises onboard Regal Princess sold 3,410 handcrafted 24K Margaritas in eight hours on February 17, breaking the previous Guinness World Record of 2,728. The line also reached 1,038,197 total 24K Margarita sales fleetwide from January 1, 2025, through January 7, 2026, using Pantalones Organic Blanco Tequila.

1. Guinness World Record Achievement

On February 17 aboard the 3,560-guest Regal Princess in Cozumel, Princess Cruises sold 3,410 handcrafted 24K Margaritas over an eight-hour span, surpassing the prior record of 2,728. The event coincided with National Margarita Day and transformed multiple bars into a record-setting venue during a seven-day Western Caribbean sailing from Galveston, Texas.

2. Fleetwide One-Million Margarita Milestone

Between January 1, 2025, and January 7, 2026, Princess Cruises sold 1,038,197 of its signature 24K Margaritas made with Pantalones Organic Blanco Tequila. This milestone underscores the cocktail’s status as the fleet’s top-selling signature beverage since the partnership launch.

3. Pantalones Organic Tequila Partnership

Since October 2024, Princess Cruises has featured Pantalones Organic Blanco, Reposado and Añejo tequilas across its ships, integrating the brand into Premier and Plus packages. The collaboration has expanded the line’s Love Line Premium Liquors Collection and introduced four additional handcrafted cocktail recipes.

4. Implications for Onboard Revenue

The record-setting sale and million-margarita milestone may boost onboard beverage revenues and guest engagement by spotlighting high-margin signature cocktails. Inclusion of Pantalones offerings in premium packages suggests potential for increased per-guest spend and enhanced brand differentiation at sea.
