Proto Labs named Sam Ramahi chief operating officer, effective Aug. 31, 2026.
Ramahi will run global operations, supply chain, quality, sourcing and continuous improvement.
Most recently, he was vice president, North America Operations at SIG Group, where he led 1,300 staff across five plants supporting $700 million in revenue.
He previously served as COO of Jacuzzi Group and held senior roles at nVent, Eaton, Cooper Industries, Honeywell and GE Healthcare.
The move supports a push to serve customers from prototype to production, with tighter focus on delivery, cost, safety and quality.
