ProWood to Launch May 2026 Build the Builder Program for Hispanic Developers
ProWood, a UFP Industries brand, has formed a strategic partnership with the National Hispanic Construction Alliance to sponsor the launch of the Build the Builder program, scheduled May 6–10, 2026 in Los Angeles, training Hispanic developers in real estate fundamentals, financing and project planning. NHCA’s report shows Hispanic builders make up nearly one-third of the U.S. construction workforce and drove 59% of industry growth from 2018 to 2023, highlighting critical training gaps ProWood aims to fill.

ProWood has entered into a strategic alliance with the National Hispanic Construction Alliance to back NHCA’s inaugural Build the Builder program, marking the first joint initiative between a leading lumber manufacturer and a Hispanic construction trade association to address workforce development.

The five-day Build the Builder event will run May 6–10, 2026 in Los Angeles, delivering in-person cohorts covering real estate fundamentals, financing strategies, project planning and community reinvestment tailored for Hispanic developers.
