PSE&G reports 939 customers without power as coastal storm disrupts New Jersey service
PEG•PSE&G reported 939 customers without power as of 7:26 a.m. Sept. 27, after restoring 51,727 customers during a coastal storm.
1. Outage response
PSEG’s PSE&G utility mobilized about 2,500 personnel as the storm drove outages across its New Jersey service area. High winds and flooding were expected to slow restoration work, and localized outages were expected to continue through the weekend; bucket-truck use was restricted during strong winds.
