Psyence BioMed unit signs term sheet with PsyLabs for exclusive U.S. ibogaine license and supply deal
PBM•Psyence Biomedical’s Texas unit entered a binding term sheet with PsyLabs for exclusive U.S. rights to develop, supply and distribute pharmaceutical-grade ibogaine, subject to a definitive agreement by Nov. 30, 2026. Consideration includes up to about $1.3 million in milestones, royalties, an annual exclusivity fee and margin-sharing.
1. Terms of the deal
Texas Ibogaine Research Corporation would receive exclusive U.S. development, supply and wholesale distribution rights. PsyLabs would remain the exclusive supplier, and the license includes manufacturing know-how, specifications and technical documentation for ibogaine hydrochloride. The agreement includes up to about $1.3 million in development and regulatory milestones for the first drug candidate, a low single-digit royalty on net sales, an annual exclusivity fee after the first FDA approval and margin-sharing on resale.
