Qnity Electronics CFO Matt Harbaugh stepped down immediately for health reasons and Mike Goss was appointed interim CFO. The company reaffirmed full-year 2025 guidance of approximately $4.7 billion in net sales and around $1.4 billion in Adjusted Pro Forma Operating EBITDA.

1. CFO Steps Down for Health Reasons

Qnity Electronics announced that Chief Financial Officer Matt Harbaugh has stepped down immediately due to health concerns. Harbaugh, who played a pivotal role in guiding the company through its spin-off and early public phase, leaves with the full support of the board and executive leadership. The decision was communicated late Thursday, and the company indicated that Harbaugh will focus on his recovery while remaining an advocate for Qnity’s long-term strategy.

2. Interim CFO Named with Proven Expertise

Effective immediately, Mike Goss, Qnity’s Principal Accounting Officer and Controller, will assume the duties of Interim Chief Financial Officer. Goss brings nearly 30 years of finance experience, including 14 years at DuPont where he most recently served as Vice President, Principal Accounting Officer and Controller from December 2018 to October 2025. His background in portfolio transformation, financial operations rigor and public-company reporting is expected to ensure continuity as Qnity conducts a comprehensive search for a permanent CFO.

3. 2025 Guidance Reaffirmed and Upcoming Results

Despite the leadership change, Qnity reconfirmed its full-year 2025 targets, projecting Net Sales of approximately $4.7 billion and Adjusted Pro Forma Operating EBITDA of about $1.4 billion, in line with prior consensus estimates. The company reiterated that its fourth-quarter and full-year financial results will be released on February 26, 2026, with an earnings call scheduled at 8:00 a.m. ET. Management emphasized that these projections assume recurring stand-alone costs of roughly $96 million and reflect continued demand for its semiconductor materials and integration solutions.
