Quantum X Labs announced the appointment of Oren Kurland, professor and endowed chair at the Technion, to its newly formed Scientific Advisory Board tasked with guiding its quantum science and engineering initiatives.
Professor Kurland holds a Ph.D. from Cornell, has published over 100 peer-reviewed papers, and has earned multiple Google, Yahoo and IBM Faculty Research Awards, establishing his leadership in information retrieval, data science and artificial intelligence.
His role will bolster Quantum X Labs' development of quantum gyroscopes for GPS-denied navigation, next-generation atomic clocks, quantum error correction and quantum-enhanced cybersecurity applications, strengthening its competitive position in advanced quantum technologies.
