QXO names ex-Honeywell executive Ken West as president, COO effective Sept. 1, 2026

West joins from Honeywell Technologies, most recently as president and CEO of Honeywell Process Technology.

His career spans more than 20 years in industrial leadership across operations, strategy, finance and integration, including Johnson Matthey Catalyst Technologies acquisition integration.

Previous experience

West previously spent 13 years at PPG Industries, including as global vice president of Packaging Coatings, where he led the AkzoNobel Architectural Coatings North America integration.

Leadership appointment

QXO named Ken West president and chief operating officer effective Sept. 1, 2026, overseeing day-to-day operations and reporting to CEO Brad Jacobs.
