RBC appoints former Ontario minister Caroline Mulroney as vice chair

RBC names Caroline Mulroney vice chair
TORONTO, Aug 19 (Reuters) - Royal Bank of Canada said on Wednesday it had appointed former Ontario minister Caroline Mulroney as vice chair, effective September 14.
Mulroney, who will report to Capital Markets CEO Derek Neldner, is the daughter of former Prime Minister of Canada Brian Mulroney.
Role will focus on client relationships and policy advice
- Mulroney will be responsible for building client relationships to grow RBC's activities across business segments and regions, Neldner said in a memo.
- She will connect clients with RBC's units across capital markets, commercial banking and wealth management, and advise the bank on the implications of evolving government policy, regulatory issues and public-sector developments.
