Realloys Inc has announced a fully financed buildout of the largest heavy rare-earth metallization facility outside China, located in Euclid, Ohio, leveraging its existing oxide separation operations to bridge a critical gap in the Western supply chain.

With a U.S. procurement ban on Chinese-origin rare earth materials entering weapons systems starting in 2027, the new plant aims to secure feedstock for missile guidance, drone propulsion, radar arrays and other defense platforms.

The Euclid facility will convert neodymium-praseodymium, dysprosium and terbium oxides into pure metals and magnet-grade alloys through high-temperature reduction and refining, and plans to scale NdFeB magnet production from 3,000 to 10,000 tons annually.
