REalloys Secures Priority for 30% of Patriot’s 2 Billion Tonne Rare Earth Output
ALOY•REalloys signed a non-binding LoI giving it priority access to up to 30% of rare earth products from Patriot’s US operations, which hold 2 billion tonnes of resource across 150 Appalachian Basin sites. The deal, subject to offtake agreement, strengthens REalloys’ feedstock network ahead of 2027 procurement requirements.
1. LoI Secures Priority Access
REalloys has entered into a non-binding letter of intent with Patriot granting it priority access to up to 30% of rare earth products from Patriot’s US operations. The arrangement, pending a definitive offtake agreement, covers supply compatible with REalloys’ processing, refining and metallisation facilities.
2. Patriot’s Resource Base
Patriot’s above-ground resource spans over 2 billion tonnes across more than 150 sites in the Appalachian Basin, encompassing over 40 US-critical minerals including neodymium, dysprosium, praseodymium and terbium. This extensive base underpins potential feedstock volume for downstream processing.
3. Strategic Supply Chain Impact
The partnership advances REalloys’ goal of building a zero-adversary feedstock network ahead of 2027 procurement requirements. It complements existing sources in the US, Brazil, Kazakhstan, Greenland and REalloys’ Hoidas Lake resource, enhancing resilience and on-time delivery for defence industrial needs.
