Blue Ops partners with Havoc on autonomous maritime defense systems
Red Cat’s maritime unit Blue Ops partnered with Havoc to develop open-architecture autonomous maritime defense systems.
Havoc’s collaborative autonomy software will be integrated across Blue Ops uncrewed surface vessels, including the Variant 7.
Integration targets coordinated multi-vessel operations, expanding autonomous functions for U.S. and allied defense customers.
Blue Ops plans operational fleets at Havoc’s Rhode Island headquarters and Blue Ops’ Florida headquarters for demonstrations, testing, training, and evaluation.
The companies also plan joint marketing to government and commercial customers, pursuing contracts for integrated autonomous maritime systems.
