Redwire opened a 30,000-square-foot research and microgravity payload development facility in Georgetown, Indiana, expanding its space-enabled R&D and manufacturing footprint.
The company said the site is aimed at meeting higher demand in pharmaceutical and biotech programs, with a focus on drug development and human health research.
Facility to support ISS operations and SpaceMD
The facility includes engineering laboratories and a Payload Operations Control Center to oversee ISS research operations in real time.
Georgetown will also support SpaceMD, Redwire’s venture focused on microgravity-enabled biotech innovation.
Redwire held a ribbon-cutting and facility tours on July 20, 2026.
