American Resources Mints Sui-Based Critical Minerals Token, Yields 99.9% Pure Samarium

ARECAREC

American Resources Corp subsidiary ReElement minted the world’s first utility token for refined neodymium oxide on a private Sui Layer-1 blockchain in partnership with blockchain firm SAGINT. ReElement also produced over 99.9% pure samarium at its Noblesville, Indiana facility, meeting magnet-grade specifications with demand for magnet materials rising.

1. AREC and ReElement Launch World's First Utility Token for Critical Minerals

American Resources Corp’s subsidiary, ReElement Technologies, has partnered with blockchain firm SAGINT to mint the world’s first utility token for critical minerals on a private Sui Layer-1 blockchain. The token is designed to track batches of refined neodymium oxide produced at ReElement’s Noblesville, Indiana facility, where operators processed more than 150 metric tons of rare‐earth concentrate in the past quarter. Each token represents a discrete 10-kilogram lot, enabling downstream buyers to verify purity, origin and chain-of-custody in real time. The initiative is expected to streamline supply‐chain transparency, reduce third‐party certification costs by up to 20%, and open new digital trading venues that could accelerate monetization of ReElement’s refining output.

2. AREC-Backed ReElement Achieves Over 99.9% Pure Samarium Production

In parallel, ReElement has confirmed production of samarium at 99.92% purity, meeting magnet‐grade specifications for the first time in its history. This milestone follows a ramp-up project that increased furnace throughput by 35% over six months, boosting monthly output to approximately 8 metric tons. With global supply disruptions driving spot prices up by nearly 45% year-to-date, ReElement’s high-purity samarium positions AREC to negotiate multi-year supply agreements with major magnet manufacturers in North America and Europe. Analysts estimate that each additional metric ton of magnet‐grade samarium could contribute more than $200,000 in incremental gross margin at current market rates.
