Regenxbio settles Sarepta patent litigation over Elevidys for USD 39 million

Regenxbio settled patent infringement litigation over Sarepta’s SRP-9001, marketed in the US as Elevidys, tied to two AAVrh74 capsid patents.
Sarepta will pay USD 39 million within 10 days of the settlement’s effective date.
The parties will dismiss the patent cases with prejudice, ending ongoing litigation over the patents-in-suit.
The agreement includes releases and a covenant not to sue covering AAVrh74-based Sarepta gene therapies, including Elevidys.
