Revolution Medicines falls after Incyte posts competitive pancreatic cancer data
RVMD•Revolution Medicines shares fell 1% after Incyte reported an 89% response rate for its KRAS G12D drug in a pancreatic cancer study. RBC Capital Markets analysts said the results appeared broadly competitive with Revolution’s drug, with late-stage data expected in 2028.
1. Competitive study results
Incyte reported an 89% response rate for zecdarasib in a pancreatic cancer study at ESMO. RBC Capital Markets analysts said the results appeared broadly competitive with Revolution Medicines’ zoldonrasib but were not clearly differentiated, with response rates and safety largely in line with expectations and comparable to Revolution’s previously reported results.
2. Development timelines
RBC said zecdarasib remains on a similar development timeline, with late-stage pancreatic cancer data expected in 2028. The analysts described the companies as “neck-and-neck” and said longer-term survival data would likely determine the winner.
