- Rigetti partnered with HPE and Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center to build the TangleLab hybrid quantum-classical supercomputing testbed.
- The plan calls for delivery of a 9-qubit Novera quantum system integrated with a classical HPC platform.
- The project is funded by a $5 million National Science Foundation grant.
- Construction is slated to start Sept. 1, 2026 at PSC’s new data center.
- Full operations are targeted for 2027.
