Roche’s Genentech says VOYAGER study supports Vabysmo effectiveness across wet AMD, DME and RVO
Genentech said VOYAGER real-world study data showed improved vision outcomes in previously untreated patients and broadly stable outcomes in previously treated patients across wet AMD, DME and RVO. Imaging outcomes improved across groups, with fewer injections later in the first year; safety matched prior Phase III studies.
1. Study findings
Genentech released new real-world VOYAGER study data on Vabysmo across wet AMD, diabetic macular edema and retinal vein occlusion. Vision outcomes improved in previously untreated patients and remained broadly stable in previously treated patients, while imaging outcomes improved across groups and fewer injections were needed later in the first year.
2. Presentation and safety
The results will be presented at the EURETINA 2026 Annual Meeting in Vienna. The safety profile matched prior Phase III studies.
