The mission, dubbed “Insight At Speed Is A Friend Indeed,” utilized Rocket Lab’s Motorized Lightband separation system, marking the fourth launch of 2026 and the company’s 83rd mission overall.

In January, a hydrostatic pressure test revealed a rupture in the Stage 1 tank of the Neutron vehicle, extending its projected maiden flight timeline.
