The company intends to open approximately 110 stores in fiscal 2026—about 85 Ross Dress for Less and 25 dd’s DISCOUNTS—representing roughly 5% net unit growth. These stores mark the first wave of the year’s growth strategy following strong new-store performance in 2025. Ross Stores launched 17 new outlets during February and March, comprising 13 Ross Dress for Less and 4 dd’s DISCOUNTS units across 11 states. The rollout expands presence in Mountain, Midwest, Northeast and key Sunbelt markets, and each opening was celebrated with donations to local youth organizations. As of fiscal 2025, Ross operates 1,917 Ross Dress for Less and 366 dd’s DISCOUNTS locations across 44 states, DC, Guam and Puerto Rico. Management projects a longer-term network of 2,900 Ross and 700 dd’s DISCOUNTS stores nationwide.
