RPM shares fall as softer guidance overshadows Q1 profit beat

RPM reported first-quarter net sales of $2.22 billion and adjusted profit of $1.98 per share. The company expects FY27 adjusted EBITDA to increase in the mid-single-digit range, compared with its prior outlook of 5% to 10%; it expects consolidated sales to rise in the mid-single-digit range, roughly in line with its previous 3% to 7% outlook.
