RTX Raytheon completes USD 50 million expansion of Mississippi manufacturing facility
RTX•Mississippi facility expansion completed
RTX’s Raytheon completed a USD 50 million expansion at its manufacturing facility in Forest, Mississippi, adding 17,000 square feet.
The added capacity is aimed at electronic warfare systems, radar programs, production testing, and integration of Next Generation Jammer Mid-Band pods.
The project is expected to create 100 high-skill jobs by 2028.
The Forest site now totals 445,000 square feet. Over the past decade, prior expansions at the facility totaled USD 280 million, including additions in 2013 and 2020.
