RTX says Pratt & Whitney GTF engine orders, commitments top 800 in 2026 YTD

RTX said demand was driven by airlines and lessors, including AirAsia, British Airways and VietJet.
The company said GTF Advantage is slated to enter service later this year, and management expects up to twice the time on wing.
Pratt & Whitney GTF orders and commitments top 800
RTX said its Pratt & Whitney unit logged more than 800 GTF engine orders and commitments since the start of 2026.
Backlog rose to more than 8,000 GTF engines, and total program orders and commitments now exceed 14,000 from more than 90 customers.
