Second-quarter profit rises on higher revenues and TSB contribution
MADRID, July 22 (Reuters) - Spain's Santander SAN.MC said on Wednesday its net profit in the second quarter rose 3% from the same period in 2025, supported by higher revenues and two months' contributions of British lender TSB, which was partly offset by restructuring charges in Britain.
The euro zone's largest lender in terms of market value booked a net profit of €3.52 billion ($4.02 billion), up from €3.43 billion in the same quarter last year.
