Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers names Jeff Smith CEO of Ryan Specialty Renewables

RSUM will rebrand and combine PERse North America, PERse International and Albus under Ryan Specialty Renewables by Q3 2026.

Ryan Specialty appointed Jeff Smith as CEO of the newly created Ryan Specialty Renewables, effective immediately.

The unit sits in RSUM, the underwriting management division, focused on global renewable energy and energy transition insurance solutions.

Smith previously co-founded PERse in 2011, one of RSUM’s renewable energy MGUs.
