Ryanair optimistic Boeing MAX 10 certification will be done in October
Ryanair CEO Michael O'Leary said he is optimistic US certification of Boeing's 737 MAX 10 will be completed by the end of October, allowing the airline to receive 16 planes in early 2027.
1. Certification outlook
O'Leary said Boeing is hoping to complete US certification of the 737 MAX 10 before the end of October and that he is optimistic the date will be met. The FAA said last month it was holding off certification until Boeing resolved a newly disclosed software issue.
2. Planned deliveries
Ryanair expects to receive 16 of the planes in early 2027 if certification is completed.
