Ryde Launches Digital Asset Treasury Strategy with Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana Allocations
Ryde has adopted a Digital Asset Treasury strategy that may allocate portions of its reserves into Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana under its governance framework. The company established a Digital Asset Investment Committee and a Compliance and Risk Committee to oversee asset allocation, risk monitoring and custodial arrangements.
1. Digital Asset Treasury Strategy
Ryde has introduced a Digital Asset Treasury (DAT) strategy to diversify corporate reserves and enhance balance sheet resilience. Under this framework, the company may allocate a portion of its treasury into digital assets, including Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana, subject to market conditions and internal approvals.
2. Governance Framework
A dedicated governance structure separates investment decision-making from compliance oversight. The Digital Asset Investment Committee (DAIC) reviews strategic allocation and capital deployment, while the Digital Asset Compliance and Risk Committee (DACRC) monitors operational controls, regulatory compliance and counterparty risk.
3. Custody Arrangements
Ryde plans to engage qualified digital asset custodians to hold any allocated crypto assets in segregated accounts. The company will ensure all custody partners meet stringent security and control standards before deployment, aligning with its risk management policies.
