Ryder System issued its 2025 corporate sustainability report, outlining governance, workforce safety, emissions, energy use, waste, cybersecurity and ethics controls.
- Set 2033 intensity targets from a 2023 baseline: fleet scope 1 emissions down 10% per mile; facility scope 1-2 down 5% per square foot.
- Reported 14,934,860 MT CO2e total emissions: scope 1 at 1,074,906; scope 2 market-based at 60,430; scope 3 at 13,799,523.
- Disclosed fleet scope 1 emissions intensity at 2.84 pounds CO2e per mile in 2025, versus 2.88 in 2023.
- Reported facility emissions intensity at 6.62 pounds CO2e per square foot, versus 6.70 in 2023; energy intensity at 0.04 GJ per square foot.
- Workforce safety metrics showed TRIR 2.94 on 1,158 incidents; DOT recordable crash rate 0.41 per million miles on 234 crashes.
- Waste metrics included 32,439 tons landfilled; 305,405 tires retreaded; 111,866 scrap batteries; 39,416 gallons hazardous waste.
- Noted ISO 27001 certification for cybersecurity; 1,351 ethics helpline reports with remedial action in all substantiated cases.
