Sagimet reported positive 52-week results from Ascletis’ Phase 3 open-label extension trial of denifanstat in moderate to severe acne. Patients showed sustained improvement across key clinical measures, including those who switched from placebo, and no adverse event-related permanent discontinuations were reported.
2. U.S. trial screening
Sagimet expects U.S. patient screening for its AURORA Phase 3 trial to start in October 2026.
