Shares jump on raised outlook
Shares of business software provider Salesforce rose about 14% to $234.24 in extended trading after the company raised its annual forecasts following quarterly results that beat expectations. The company is betting on enterprise adoption of its new AI-powered autonomous agents accelerating sales.

Salesforce said it now sees annual revenue between $46.1 billion and $46.4 billion, compared with its previous forecast of $45.9 billion to $46.2 billion. Adjusted EPS is seen between $16.67 and $16.71, up from the previous $14.06 to $14.12 projection.
For the second quarter, revenue of $11.35 billion beat estimates of $11.32 billion, while adjusted EPS of $5.90 beat expectations of $3.27, according to data compiled by LSEG.
