Satellogic has partnered with SynMax to fuse AI-based intelligence with its high-resolution satellite constellation and on-board AI, advancing toward Merlin’s one-meter global coverage launching October 2026. The collaboration targets defense and intelligence clients migrating to continuous monitoring, aiming to shorten observation-to-decision cycles in domain awareness and border surveillance.
Satellogic and SynMax have entered a strategic collaboration to integrate multi-source intelligence fusion with Satellogic’s high-resolution Earth observation capabilities, aiming to deliver continuous, decision-ready geospatial products tailored for defense and intelligence missions.
Under the partnership, SynMax’s agentic AI layer will augment data from Satellogic’s existing constellation and on-board AI systems, with planned expansion to the Merlin constellation launching in October 2026 to achieve daily one-meter global coverage.
The collaboration responds to increased demand for persistent monitoring programs among defense, intelligence, and commercial clients, targeting use cases such as terrestrial domain awareness, border surveillance, and pattern-of-life analysis to accelerate the observation-to-decision process.
