Satellogic expands Slingshot III contract with IDT for US Naval Research program

The deal supports integration of six NewSat Mark VI Earth observation satellites into the Slingshot III architecture over the next 18 months.
The scope includes on-orbit tests, enhanced onboard processing, automated filtering, faster track-data production, improved predictive planning and new in-orbit operations.

Satellogic signed an expanded agreement with Innovative Defense Technologies supporting the U.S. Office of Naval Research Slingshot III program.
Work runs through 2027-2028, shifting the effort toward operationally relevant, autonomous, low-latency intelligence capabilities.
