Saudi PIF Holds $5.07B in Electronic Arts, Eyes $55B Takeover
Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund held $5.07 billion in Electronic Arts shares, accounting for 39% of its Q4 assets and ranking second behind Uber. Last year the sovereign wealth fund agreed to acquire Electronic Arts in a $55 billion deal as part of its gaming expansion.

At the end of the fourth quarter, the Public Investment Fund held Electronic Arts shares valued at $5.07 billion, representing 39% of its total portfolio and making EA its second-largest position after a $5.95 billion stake in Uber.
2. $55B Electronic Arts Acquisition Proposal
In the prior year, the Public Investment Fund reached agreement to acquire Electronic Arts in a $55 billion transaction, reflecting the sovereign wealth fund’s strategic push into the video game sector and its intention to become a dominant global gaming investor.
