Schrodinger swings to Q2 GAAP profit of $6 million; revenue rises 8% to $58.9 million

Schrödinger reported second-quarter net income of $5.98 million, swinging from a loss, as revenue rose 8% to $58.89 million.
Software revenue fell 10% to $32.54 million; hosted revenue was 47% of software revenue as the shift to hosted licensing continued.
Drug discovery revenue more than doubled to $22.99 million, driven by a $10 million Ajax Therapeutics collaboration milestone.
Operating performance and outlook
ACV rose 27% to $29.6 million. Operating loss narrowed to $41.55 million as operating expenses fell 6% to $73.98 million.
The company launched early access for Bunsen, its agentic AI co-scientist, and guided 2026 ACV at $218 million-$228 million and drug discovery revenue at $65 million-$75 million.
